Dr. Brandao is an experienced general dentist at Brilliant Smiles of Boca Raton, one of the fastest growing new dental practices in Boca Raton, FL.
Dr. Brandao prioritizes delicacy, comfort and excellence in every aspect of patient care. She ensures each patient receives the highest standards of dental service and she takes the time to explain the benefits and potential consequences of treatment options, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their oral health.
Dr. Brandao earned her doctoral degree from the University Vale do Rio Doce in Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 2013. Following this, she moved to the USA, where she worked as a hygienist for four years. In 2022, she achieved another milestone by completing her doctoral degree in General Dentistry from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Driven by the commitment to community service, Dr. Brandao actively participates in her church’s dental clinic, which offers pro bono oral health care to low-income families. She passionately believes in giving back to the underserved population, embodying her dedication to improving access to dental care and making a positive impact in her community.
When she is not working creating beautiful and healthy smiles, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, cooking and exercising.

Biography:
Dr. Carlos Solano, born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic, harbored a childhood dream of becoming a dentist. In 2008, he fulfilled his dream and obtained his Dental degree from Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). Alongside of this aspiration, he cultivated a deep curiosity about
diverse countries and cultures. This drive led him to São Paulo, Brazil, where he completed his Prosthodontics Residency at the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2010. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, he then moved to the USA in 2012, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Illinois At Chicago (UIC), College of Dentistry, in 2020.
This broad experience over the years expanded his views as a dentist, enabling him with the versatility to employ different techniques and approaches to address even the most complex cases with enhanced efficacy, while prioritizing the patient’s overall health. Dr. Solano is passionate about changing smiles and loves interacting with his patients and learning about their life experiences.
Dr. Solano lives in Boca Raton and loves spending time with his family and friends. He is married with his dental school sweetheart Dr. Patricia Brandao, and they have one daughter, Chloe. His other passions include sports, traveling, music, movies/tv shows, being involved in his church and helping the community.
